About
Bernard wasn't a product idea before it was a personal frustration. The shortest possible version of the origin story is one sentence: I'm a clinician who couldn't stand reading agency drafts of my own work anymore.
Founder
Founder, Bernard · Owner, Move Better
I run Move Better — three chiropractic clinics in the Pacific Northwest covering human, equine, and animal care. We treat the root cause of pain through movement, breathing, bracing, soft-tissue work, and rehabilitation. Our patients pay a premium because the model works.
The product side of my brain was always the bottleneck. I had more ideas about chronic pain than my own marketing engine could keep up with. I tried the agency. I tried the social VA. I tried ChatGPT. I tried Substack with a goal to write weekly. All of it died on the calendar reality of being a small clinic owner.
Bernard is the tool I built for myself, then realized other owner-operators would want too. It's built on the same principle the clinic is: address the root cause. The root cause of "my marketing doesn't sound like me" isn't the writer — it's that the writer never heard you talk. So the tool starts with you talking.
Principles
The AI doesn't invent ideas, statistics, patient stories, or beliefs. If you didn't say it, it isn't in the draft. The transcript is the only source of truth.
Everything aims at "30 minutes a week, including the talking and the reviewing." If a feature needs more than that, it gets simpler or it gets cut.
You can always paste into your existing tools. We don't trap content in our app or require you to publish through us. The drafts are yours.
The questions, the audience, the links, and the tone are all tuned to your kind of work. The same tool reads very differently for an animal chiropractor than for an executive coach.
Founding owners reach the founder directly. No ticket queue, no tiered support. We're going to find rough edges fast; you're how we find them.
Bernard already runs three separate practices inside Move Better, and adding a new one is quick and automatic. That's how we keep the price low and keep every clinic's content cleanly separated from the next.
Where it's going
Talk for 15 minutes, get a month of blog, social, email, and Google posts. Add video clips, caption them from what's actually said, and post or save as b-roll. Invite your whole team, each with their own interview queue. Run more than one location. Voice learning that improves with every session. All live today.
See how each post actually did — from Google, Facebook, and your email tool — so next month leans into what's working. A drag-and-drop calendar for what's going out when. Suggested clips for every story, ranked from your own approved media library.
Memory across months so new posts build on your established ideas. The system notices when something keeps coming up across interviews and offers to develop it. And a cleaner handoff to the patient relationship — not just content out, but the moment the content brings someone in.
The company
Bernard isn't venture-backed. It's funded by Move Better's cash flow and built nights and weekends. That's not a sob story — it's a feature. It means we never have to pretend $200/month is too cheap. It means a tenant who pays us is the only person we're trying to make happy. And it means we'll never sell you out to a private-equity roll-up.
Long term, the goal is a few hundred owner-operator practices on Bernard, each saving 10+ hours a month. That math works at our target pricing. We don't need a billion-dollar exit. We need to make sure the founding cohort feels heard.
The 5-minute application is the start of a real conversation. We'll get back to you in 24 hours, either way.
"Build the tool you'd want to use yourself. Sell it to people who think the way you do. Don't grow faster than that."
